Our wooden features and signs have been cleaned and oiled to maintain their appearance. All of the woodwork was treated using completely organic, natural beeswax oil. This is gentle on the environment and perfect for protecting our much loved features through the colder months. With a special thanks to our wonderful volunteers for braving the cold December weather to dedicate some time to preseving our wonderful features.

As winter settles in, Sutton Ecology Centre is entering one of the most important and rewarding phases of our year. While our gardens might appear quieter at this time, there is a huge amount happening behind the scenes to protect, restore and prepare the habitats for the spring months ahead.
